A garden oasis that is visible and accessible from the living room is the kind of suburban nirvana most only dream of.
For owners Dave and Cath, it became a reality when they extended their post-war cottage at Morningside and created a patch of lawn at the heart of their home.
Architects Jade Myers and William Ellyett devised the plan, arranging new living rooms around a protected inner courtyard.
